Family and Friends Challenge Campaign
Launch of the 2010 CLC Challenge Campaign
Recently, Community Living Centers (CLC) launched the 2010 Family and Friends Challenge Campaigns. CLC depends on gifts from parents, siblings, businesses, foundations and friends to help fund our annual shortfall in revenue of approximately $500,000 to care for 116 developmental disabled adults. Funds to cover this shortfall must come from fundraisers and donations.
As you know from newspapers and television, Michigan is facing an economic crisis never experienced in the past 2 decades. It has had a negative impact on the support non-profits can realize from the State, corporate funds and private donors. CLC needs your help. Without the funds we receive from private donations we could not continue to provide the services that our residents deserve.
At the bottom of the page, we have made it easier for you to donate by adding a link to the major credit cards or printing down a mail-in donation form. Each contributor's name will be listed in each of our 2010 newsletters "Honor Roll of Donors" and CLC website at the appropriate financial level of contribution. You are what have made the CLC program so unique for 41 years!
CLC is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation and your entire contribution is tax deductible in the tax year of your donation. If working, you may also inquire with your employer about their matching gift program, which would increase your total gift to CLC.
Please contact Laura Hand, CLC Accounting Associate, at 248-478-0870 if you have questions regarding structuring a donation, donating deferred gifts of life insurance, real estate, appreciated securities or other properties, or wanting to include CLC in your estate planning.
Your support means more than you could possibly know. Ask your friends to consider CLC when they express an interest in supporting those in need. No amount is too small. Thanks!
